Why Kusadasi as a base
Kusadasi is close to Ephesus, to long sandy beaches such as Pamucak and to other ancient sites such as Priene, Miletus and Didim. If you study in Izmir or nearby, it can be a weekend trip.
Getting here
Izmir Airport is about an hour away by road. There are public transport connections towards Selçuk and Kusadasi with changes; check the current timetables before you travel.
Travelling as a group? Our private transfer is priced per vehicle for up to 8 passengers, so the cost is shared between you.
Free things to do
- Walk along the seafront to Pigeon Island and its castle.
- Watch the sunset over the Aegean from the seafront.
- Spend a day on the long sandy beach at Pamucak.

- On the safari, a double quad or double buggy is shared by two people.

Money
The currency is the Turkish lira (TRY). Cards are accepted in most shops and restaurants; small kiosks may prefer cash. With us you pay in cash or by card.
Ancient sites
Entrance fees, and whether student discounts apply, can change. Check the current information on the official museum website before you go. Wear good shoes: the ancient streets are stone and can be slippery.
