Back to your ship on time
Every cruise passenger worries about missing the ship. This is exactly how we plan your day in port, and what we cannot promise.
Our rule: back at the port at least 60 minutes before departure
When our cruise day planner says that a trip fits your ship, it means our planned return to the port is at least 60 minutes before the published departure time. If a trip does not leave this margin, we do not suggest it for your ship.
Your all-aboard time comes first
Your cruise line sets an all-aboard time, which is usually earlier than the departure time in public schedules. Always plan around the all-aboard time, and tell us your all-aboard time when you book, so we can check that the trip fits.
Safaris from the cruise port
For the quad, buggy and horse safaris we meet you at Kervansaray, about 50 m from the port exit: at 10:10 for the 11:00 tour and at 15:10 for the 16:00 tour. After the 11:00 tour you are back around 13:45–14:15, after the 16:00 tour around 18:45–19:15. For most ships the morning tour is the better choice.
Ephesus, Didim, Miletus and Priene
These are private trips by car with a driver. The driver waits until you have finished and brings you back to the port. We plan the start time around your ship together with you.
Times can change
- Ship times in public schedules can change. On the day, check your cruise line's app or daily programme.
- Traffic and the walk from the port gate take time. Our pickup and return times are approximate.
- If your ship arrives late or has to leave early, write to us on WhatsApp straight away and we will tell you what is still possible.
What we cannot promise
We plan with a safety margin, but we cannot control ship schedules, port procedures or traffic, so we do not give a guarantee. You can cancel any booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. If something changes on the day, message us as early as possible.
What to tell us when you book
- The ship's name and the date
- Your arrival time and your all-aboard time
- The number of people, and their ages for the safaris
